These case studies demonstrate how the service NABIS provides is used by police forces and law enforcement agencies nationwide. They show how through use of the NABIS Database, ballistic material recovered from crime scenes can be linked to a weapon, which can subsequently be linked to people and objects from criminal activity that has happened in different force areas.
