Detectives from the Met's Flying Squad, who were appealing for the public's help to trace a suspect in connection with two armed robberies, have arrested a man.
The appeal related to two gun-enabled robberies; the first on 31 May at a bookmaker on College Hill Road, Harrow and the second on 4 June at a bookmaker on Court Parade, Wembley.
On Monday, 13 June, a 41-year-old man handed himself in at a Harrow police station. He was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and is currently in police custody.
