Two Men Arrested In Connection With Lewis Dunne Shooting

Detectives investigating the murder of 16-year-old Lewis Dunne have arrested a 20-year-old man from Anfield, and a 21-year-old man from Kirkdale, both on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody at the time of writing.

Merseyside Police launched a murder investigation following the shooting of the 16-year-old boy in Liverpool on Sunday, 15 November.

Officers were called to reports of a shooting on a towpath near Burrows Court, Eldonian Village, just before 11.10pm.

The teenager, who was found by a member of the public, was taken to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, where he died a short while later.
