A firearm and ammunition has been seized by police after vehicle stops in north London.
Armed officers stopped two vehicles in Blackstock Road, N5, on Tuesday, 14 April as part of an investigation.
The vehicles and occupants were searched and officers recovered a revolver and ammunition.
Three males, aged 17 [A], 19 [B] and 24 [C], were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm. They have been taken to north London police stations where they remain in custody.
Detectives from Specialist Crime are investigating.
Detective Superintendent Neil Ballard, from Specialist Crime, said:
"I would like to reassure Londoners that we are continuing to crackdown on organised crime and violent criminals during this pandemic and unprecedented times. This excellent piece of police work has resulted in another dangerous weapon being taken off the streets of London."
