Work experience

Unfortunately, we do not have any opportunities for work experience and/or student placements at the current time, and are unlikely to employ anyone in this capacity in the near future.

Qualifications to become a NABIS Technician or Expert

There are numerous BSc courses in forensic science, but most of these have only very limited inputs on ballistics.

The key skill for NABIS experts is microscopy and the related IBIS work. These skills can only be gained by doing the job and building experience.
