The NABIS vision underpins the 2018 UK Serious Organised Crime Strategy and the recently published Serious Violence Strategy that reinforce the tackling of the Criminal Use of Firearms as a continuing UK government priority, affected by International crime drivers.

NABIS is therefore committed to identifying the few individuals who actively import, store and supply illegal firearms and to understand the people involved in illegally converting or adapting them.
